Timeline Navigation and Search Interface Prototype
Participated in the AFI Digital Content Lab, partnering with A&E’s History Channel and Brightcove to create a hybrid content delivery interface for accessing large amounts of WW2 video and imagery.
I worked with the History Channel to create an online experience for their immense collection of WWII video clips and images. The timeline interface offers a flexible way to find and navigate content and integrated game that to allows simultaneous playing and learning.
As Senior Art Director, I was involved from the initial concepting through to production and presentation of the final demo. With the team, I was responsible for designing the interaction model, site map, and wireframes. I designed all of the visuals, and worked with a flash animator and after effects designer to create the prototype. I art directed the game, and worked with a 3D designers to produce it. And finally, I created the specification documentation.
